This is the time of year that I tend to lose focus in my practice. I want to finish the year out strong but at the same time I want to find time for friends and family during the holidays. It is also the time when I start to look ahead to things I want to accomplish for the upcoming year.
Don’t get me wrong. Goal setting is a good thing. What I am talking about is a simple case of looking forward to the next game while in the middle of one. Not usually a good thing to do. Nonetheless it happens to me every year.
