As dental professionals we are required to participate in continuing education (CE) to maintain our license.
One of the problems with finding quality CE is knowing where to look for it.
The folks over at Simply CE have found a solution.
They are set to launch their new site on September 30th and over the past couple of weeks I have been a beta tester for them.
This is what I have found.
They provide a centralized site where CE providers and educators can post their upcoming courses.
At the same time, dental professionals searching for CE can access the site and use various search filters to find a course fitting their needs.
Some of they ways to search include type of course (e.g. oral surgery, implants, periodontics, etc), location (they have a search tool using your zip code), and by time frame (calendar).
In addition, they provide google maps to course location, links to the CE providers website, and have the capability to link directly to the registration form (if the CE provider chooses).
One of the coolest features is an automatic email update when a course meeting your parameters is added to the site.
Keep in mind that all you have to do is register. SimplyCE is entirely FREE.
Go check it out and let me know what you think.
How do you find your continuing education courses?
